ambidextrious thumbstuds

it seems most knives, at least benchmades which is mostly what i own, have pretty much all become ambidextrious thumb studs. which i know its probably a lot cheaper to manufacture then just either left or right but does anyone else find the stud opposite of your carry side hangs up on pocket when drawing knife?
 
Nope. I like it. Not only can I flick open with either thumb, but in a reverse grip or weird draw I can use one of my fingers to flick it open...

Funny thing is, the best thumbstud I ever had on a knife was on the worst knife I've ever owned... Gerber Paraframe II :confused:
