Now that I'm back into knifemaking, I also finished this hunter. I traded this knife for a Burt foster damascus knife. And I hope that the customer will be pleased with the knife.

This was the knife in an early state:

And here some specs and finally the finished knife:

Blade: 14 cm
Handle: 12 cm
Steel: C100 with a hamon (I added an old, poor pic of the hamon)
Handle: V2A(SS) and Amboina

The guard has a mirror polish on the underside of the handle, that was kind of difficult to capture.

The knife already proved itself on a boar- and deerhunt. I sent the knife to the customer before I finally finished it and he dressed a boar and a deer with it. I hope it'll serve him as well now :).

As always, I'm looking forward to your comments.

Regards Marcus

I like it! I would have buffed the whole guard, but your finish blends well with the blade. I gotta give you a thumbs up on it, for sure.

Marcus,

that knife is very nicely-executed. I love working with Amboyna, don't you? I can't make out yoru name on the blade. Maybe you should change your handle here so everyone will know who you are. Its a good thing to do if you ever intend to sell any blades. :D
