So whats the general consensus on this knife? I've seen a few video reviews and most seem positive though there are one to two that are critical of it.

I've ordered one, but am having a big of buyers remorse about it even before it's shown up (mainly because I just bought a Fiddleback forge knife this month and really shouldn't be buying another knife).
 
The most critical review that I saw was from Wako on the handle of his knife. He ended up sanding the over loving crap out of it for the majority of the video. He had received one of the very first versions of the knife and unfortunately the handles didn't have as much of a radius on the corners as they should have. The majority of those knives were sent back and re-radiused. That was for the first run of knives.

The gen 2, or second run, that you just bought had the handle completely redesigned. Some thickness was added but the radius is much greater, giving you a really nice feel in hand. If you want a knife that is made to be used this one will do it.
 
I have one - gen1 - great blade. The handle and spine were my complaints. Eric offered to make it right, but sending it back seemed petty at this point. After some use, I will send it back for a spa day that will include the aforementioned alterations.

Not a bit of buyers remorse here.
