Amercian Bowie Knife Identification and Age ?

Hi I would like some help if possible in identifying, age and value about this knife or any information anyone has.

We have cleared my fathers possessions out over the last few weeks and came across a bowie knife, we have checked the stamp and its by W&S Butcher, Sheffield. It has decoration all over the blade on one side and a bone handle. It measures approx 12 inches long overall. The blade measures 8 inches from the knuckleguard. The images below are of the knfe. It is in reasonable condition a few marks that may polish out.
