Some time back, while checking out a pawn shop, I stumbled upon a three blade stockman that has "AMERICAN BLADE" stamped on the tang, and right below that is says "CHATT,TN."
On the other side it is stamped AB-30.

It has very pretty polished bone (i think) scales, and is about four inches when closed.

I have never heard of the AMERICAN BLADE co. and am courious if anyone knows anything about them. It is maybe my favorite stockman of any that I have had, or seen.

To top that, I found another one just like it at a gun show I think. Their quality is excellent.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Those were made in Japan for the Parker Cutlery company...late 1980's.
Pretty decent knives...I think I have one or two in my old knife roll.

American Blade was the original name of the magazine that eventually became Blade.
