American Cop Article

Wow, thanks for that Rob. Cool read on any day but on a sleep deprived Monday that was beyond an enjoyable escape.
Great write-up. Kudos to the Author:thumbup:

Cool.

I looked at the photo of the 2011 Blade knives and tried to see if my bronze ano. 24 was shown, but couldn't confirm.

Nice to see some more magazine coverage, sure hope only those who already know about Hinderer read it, or else demand is going to go even higher.

:D

I'm not an LEO or Paramedic but I'm always prepared for an emergency and I'm proud to know I carry a reliable tool.

Fantastic Article, love the set of knives being made for the Switzerland Police SWAT Team. Proud to carry one of these knives everyday.

Yet again, proof that Hinderer knives are the cream of the crop! My XM is seriously the one knife I've never been able to sell, and doubt I ever will! The article was a nice reminder of the care and precision that goes into his knives. Congrats on the article!

Great article, as a retired LEO I found it totally amusing in my career that officers were obsessed with back-up guns and some of these same officers would not even have a knife on them. My department prohibited the display of a knife on ones duty belt, even though you were carrying a gun! I always had a custom boot knife and a folder on me. I told younger officers your chance of using your knife to cut something was always greater than using your gun. Once I became involved in SWAT I carried a Randall #14 sheath knife and a folder, unfortunately I did not know about Hinderer knives then and he wasn't making the XM 18's or I sure would have been carrying one! An example of the things I've cut while on duty: seat belts (of course), rope off a suicide victim (too late), pants off farmer who got them wrapped around PTO on tractor, seaweed off our Patrol Boat, clothes off gun shot victim, thread off uniform, and off course many pizzas.
I've met Rick, Rob and crew and the product they put out is absolutely the best, along with all being stand up guys!

While I often try to thank those who serve, it is thru actions that Hinderer shows thanks. While some may dislike the "LEO/ MIL/ 1st Responder" sales policy, it does show huge respect and thanks.

The knives, like the people who provide us our relatively safe and secured lives, are few in number. So it only makes sense that these two shall meet.

I am still active LEO.You can NOT find a better knife than the XM 18 for duty carry. You will not damage it, don't be afraid to carry it,your life is worth more than the secondary market price.Rob has always gone out of his way to take care of first responders, those of wanting one should be grateful for their program. Don't screw it up by getting one and then turning around and making a few bucks.

Just found this & what a great article. Very detailed information & I had to wipe off my drool from seeing some of the pictures.
