anybody interested in seeing a run of the American Kensei in 1/4" infi? i'm not talking about pushing back the elusive folder or any other offered knife. i'm just thinking of a run of several hundred limited edition smooth beadblasted snake skin short swords.
my hells hornet handles like a dream but it's not infi. i have need for a kensei that can flex hold an edge and be abused. riden hard and put away wet!

we could call it the BW or bush whacker or busse whacker or busse wackoffer?

Where do I sign up? That would be too cool. I completely agree with the bead blast, camo handle scheme. Jerry could even take pre-payment to insure enough interest to make it worth his while.
 
An 18" to 20" short-sword would be mighty sweet!! Are you thinking of a full two-hand handle or a hand-and-a-half style??

a handle and a half would be ok with me. i really like 15 to 16 inches so it would tie along a back pack or fit in a 4 wheeler atv type box. short enough to even ware across your back while hiking.
not really longer than a machete and with the blade about half the width of a machete.
i say keeping it like the american kensei would be best as it is tried and true.
 
Okay, I'm digging what you are saying so far. I could see 16" to 18" blade as a fine length for a pack sword and with a hand-and-a-half handle OAL would be right in there for what you described. How about blade grind? Flat ground but maximizing for weight and mass...or a bit of hollow grinding with a full spine for quickness in the hand. Is the goal for it to be more weaponish or more toolish? Either way it sounds very cool so far!

If Busse ever makes a short sword, put this Darkjedi on the list.

Support the Skunk, we need a hand-and-a-half asian styled blade, line grain finish, linen micarta or resprene C handles, and a good amount of warning time. Some of us need save up our money and come up with some good excuses, to tell our significate others why we need other Busse.

I would be very interested in a short sword in INFI.
Asian tanto with the Penetrator tip as on the public defender,
bead blast finish, snake skin nukurta handle, an 18" to 20" blade,
carried in a quick deploy over the shoulder kydex sheath.
That would be too sweet.

I would also echo Darkjedi2's request for advanced warning. My blade fund just took a hit from the PD and it's rebounding slower than the NYSE. :(;) And there's still the Skeleton Key, KBgII & FOLDER in the pipeline.
:rolleyes: I might need to find a second job :barf: so I can at least try to keep up.
