American lawman with stainless liners

I have 2 american lawman 1 with cts xhp and one with ss liners I want to trade one do I need the added strength of the liners or rather have the xhp blade?

I had an s35vn version with no liners. It was fine for everything I threw at it. You don’t need liners. But the xhp version may hold a better value for a better trade.

Hard to say. I don't think the liners are necessary for any conceivable normal use (even with the thin G-10 scales on the Lawman), but the old liner models are more scarce than the newer versions. Also, though the XHP is no longer available, you can still get them in the S35VN mentioned above.

I’d rather have the one with the XHP blade. The liners are unnecessary in my opinion. Maybe you can swap the XHP blade into lined scales.

Can't swap blades the one with liners is beefier around the pivot it uses bigger washers etc.
