American Picker knife reworked handle

For those who saw the first version it had a natural colored handle. It was driving me crazy. I had been wanting to try wire inlay like my friend / mentor does. I figured what better practice than on a gift.

Oh yeah in the first pic is the inlay knife I made. I will be making a few more of those soon.

Thanks Steve. I think I will be doing alot more wire inlays, I really enjoyed doing it. Even though I have watched Jay do it many times, it ain't as easy as he and Barney make it look. I learned alot just on this one.

Scott, I have not watched Jay, but Mr. Barnes gave me a lesson last year! They do make it look easy! My last project was my best wire effort yet! Where did you get your wire?
