American Service Knife status?

What is the status of this company? They don’t respond to emails and never ended up producing some of their prototype tools on instagram. Anyone know if Medford is phasing it out?

Good question-I am wondering the same as I would like to have been able to buy a saw or a scissor…I’ve decided that the chisel is just about worthless to me and I would trade that blade for almost anything else….of the tools Medford offers, I am not interested. I’m sure he thought or thinks many folks would be excited about a bolt scraper or other specific tools but it is my opinion that most people like the tools offered by Vic, and would like some of the practical similar options available for the ASK….I love the main blade on my ASK and the cap lifter/screw driver is cool too but I would recommend not spending $250 on this knife unless you want to regret not being able to get any practical tools in any reasonable time as I have owned this(gift from wife) for going on 2 years and all I see as upgrades are a bunch of different scales with different pictures or scenes…..I recommend just spending your $ for one of the higher end “more-tools-already-setup” Vic models….otherwise the base ASK you will find has basically 1 cutting blade and a chisel which you almost have to seek out uses to justify it’s existence, and a bottle opener/screw driver…..Please make us some useful not “over-thought useless additional tools” Mr Medford…and speed it up already for crying out loud, or just come out and tell us that’s it folks-that’s all you get!
