good link. I can't believe they are blaming that guy's death on the fact that he had a non issue multi tool, not the fact that the moron was poking a land mine with a tool.

With that mentality, we should not allow soldiers to carry a tomahawk......they might start chopping up IED's ...........can't have that

Maybe he thought it was an all titanium knife, rather than just a Leatherman with a titanium handle.
 
There have been several such articles about the tomahawk's modern-day usage... I am a real fan of the Vietnam Tomahawk and the ATC VTAC... I searched long and hard for stories about 6 months ago, and found them...
