does anyone have a list of the spydercos that are made in colorado? i now have several (10 to be exact) of "nice" spydercos, with the msrp ranging from $70 to $200. i have no complaints of the quality, but every single one of them is from seki city, japan. i'd really like to get ahold of some usa made spydercos but even the ones that i have ordered with the description "made in usa" still come to my mailbox with "seki" stamped on the blade. help!?

The easiest way I know is to go to the Spyderco home page, click on catalog, then search by steel. S30V, S90V, CPM D2 knives are all made in Golden. That includes the Military, Paramilitary, Native, P'Kal, Sage, UKPK and Chinook III currently in production.

Look on the blades, it will tell.
It will also tell you that your knife is made on this planet. I suppose that's good.

I've always meant to ask Mr. Glesser if he'd read A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man... maybe I will.

Contrariwise, I believe all the VG10 bladed knives are made in Seki City.

there aren't any knife stores in my neck of the woods. i have to buy every one of them online. most dont show the stamp on the blade well enough to see where its made

The Sage isn't US made, it is made in Taiwan. S30V is shipped from here per Sal.
Get a Walmart Native they are US made and priced right. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5244171

As I can't examine the knife or package either, I go to the Spyderco website and type "Golden" in the search box. That will bring up the knives made in the USA. At least it has so far.

I have the Spyderench made in Colorado. Picked it up at a thrift store.Like new in box.

thanks guys. its too bad my favorites that i have seen so far are all vg-10
