The VT Tac is an awesome Hawk...Great balance if your looking to throw, and as far as utility, I went on a 4 day trip to climb MT. Marcy hear in NY State and I took it along "just for fun" - Believe me it doesn't disapoint at all especially at it's price point. For added carry comfort I also got Survival Sheath Systems shoulder rig with it. Makes carrying a dream.
Great choice if it's your first hawk.

I got one! I ordered it on thursday at ATC, Justin send me a mail same to tell it was shiped and I got it on monday in Europe!!!
This hawk is a dream! And I was very please by ATC's great service!
Now I want one more!!! have you tryed the belt sheath from Survival sheaths?
