What do you get when you combine an American 'Warhorse' with German precision?

Derrick Wulf....:D

For those that don't know or are aware of Derrick, he's a World Class Bladesmith that moved to Germany a few years ago with his family and resides in the hamlet of Kaltenbrunn just outside of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the Bavarian Alps in Southern Germany. He was awarded the American Bladesmith Society Journeyman Smith stamp and recognition in 2013.

This is his idea of a Vest Pocket Bowie/Fighter that I asked him to make....5"-6" blade with a sharpened clip, somewhat of a double guard, and stabilized hardwood....the Damascus is a 3 alloy mix in a distinct W's pattern, the guard is stainless, and the sculpted handle is stabilized Koa, Derrick even made the sheath for me. :)

You're killing me! I've been thinking about a 5" Bowie just like this, wanted to pair it with a Ruger six gun, though.

It's a beauty but the fine handguns are distracting.

Thanks and you have a fine eye...

A completely untouched and original 1943 manufactured US Army Remington-Rand 1911A1 in its original 1944-dated Boyt holster and a 1923 Commercial DWM Luger, in .30 Luger, manufactured around 1930 in a fairly rare 1936-dated Commercial hard-shell holster with extra mag and take-down tool. :)

Love this knife, and I especially love that the drama of the damascus is the pattern and texture of the damascus, and not the disparity between dark etched steel and polished high spots. Sweetness!
