Hey Scanna, Left for left and right for right. I can tell you are Portugeese. ( The only geese that can't fly ):p :p :p
PS Nice grinds. Joe is loving his new KMG.

chisel the way you have it ground would be for a lefty. you want the flat on the inside of the body were you have the control. the tactical crowd grinds them as leftys because when you hold it in your right hand you can see the grinds and logo. ask these guys and they will say (the honest ones) that the blade tends to roll over on them when they cut on a piece of rope or on a flat surface. so i you want to make them more than slashers the flat goes on the inside. nice grinds on your blade.

Nice grind, Joe. Enjoying that grinder, eh? It just becomes more enjoyable the longer you use it, doesn't it? Take care.

i appreiciate the kind works... Lawrence, that's what i was looking for...i had heard along the way there was a proper side to grind a single sided blade... thanks for the info
and yes Mr,Fitz, im loving my new KMG,that machine is by far the best i have ever used...the 14"wheel is a joy to grind on...i see the rotary platen in the very near future:D
George... i still love ya man!:p :p :p

Joe everybody's complimenting your grinding, and why should Ibe any different? That looks great! I hope you also share the completed knife. :D

Not generally fond of this blade style, but I really like the way you have ground the tip. You gave the blade some belly and this knife is going to cut a whole lot better than the majority of Americanized tantos that I have run across. Very nice.

One thing to keep in mind...

On a pure fighter (say a large fighter), reverse that formula. The most natural and one fo the fastest/strongest strokes is an inside slash, for a righty going from right to left. In this case, you want the grind on the left side. For pure utility, a righty wants the grind on the right side.

Joe,
It looks Great, hey I'm left handed! You must have been thinking of me when you made it. I love presents!!!
:D

a righty always wants the flat on the inside. and this inculdes fighters, you get a straight cut with no roll over.
