it seems lately that ammo prices have just gone crazy... and not the good kind of crazy. stopped in to a local gun store the other day to pick up some ball .223 just for plinking, and its gone up to almost 50 cents a round! everything eles seems to be running up as well. checked online and prices arent much better there. anybody have so good sites for ammo??
 
cheaper than dirt but you gotta watch shipping costs. can you get somebody to split a big bulk buy? that helps a lot. my uncle buys a lot from Natchez shooters supply. but I haven't tried them yet. On and off you can find some great deals through Cabelas.
 
Yup, if you don't reload ammo prices suck. And even with reloading......they still suck :mad:

KC is probably by far the best place to pick up ammo :D

Beef, figured you'd stock up each time you go down there (well, if the shoot isn't canceled)

Georgia Arms is among my favorites, along with several of those already suggested. Shipping to me is FREE here in MA if I order over $700 worth of ammo. Easy to do when splitting it with a friend or two.
 
CDNN has 150 grain .30-06 for $13.99 if you can use it; also one of the BEST places to get extra magazines.;):thumbup:
 
I would expect there to be surplus in the next year or so since we pulled out of Iraq and eventually out of Afganastan.
 
Walmart still has bulk packs of 223 pretty cheap still. Yeah, election year ammo panic is starting. If you want crazy go to a gun show some time.
