I just wanted to extend a special thanks to Tom Sotis for the recent lesson that I recieved from him. A two hour "everything knifefighting" lesson is a tall request. However, Tom managed to give me a lesson that opened many doors for me. With little formal knife training I was leery about going right to the top of the AMOK! system and requesting a private lesson with Tom, but I shouldn't have been. Tom proved that not only is he a top notch knifer and world class blade art instructor, but he is also a very personable guy. Tom, being very easy to talk to, without a huge ego, and not concerned with recieving the false reverence that many traditional martial arts instructors demand, made my two hour private lesson one of the best training investments ever. The wealth of material, the organization of the training and theory, and the eye opening nature of real, ugly hard sparring that appears to characterize AMOK! is absolutely worth every penny.

Thanks, Tom, for a great lesson, great insight, and an all around fun training session. I hope to be able to train with you again.

Tom is a great instructor, a master of the blade, and a true gentleman. I had the privilege of training with him in Arizona last March, and look forward to my next training session with him. AMOK!
