I wanted to pass along a word of thanks to Jerry for the Satin Jack I received from Busse Combat over the Blade Show weekend. This is one of the last of the previous 3/16ths models and the third Busse knife I now own. Had to grab one before they were gone for good and I am very, very glad I did!

This knife is similar to my 1/4" Satin Jack, but not quite the same. The blade shape is not a drop point, not a trailing point and not a clip point, but more of a blend of all three and beautifully done ta boot. Impressive. Yep, that one hit the nail on the head. Love the camo micarta handle too--a pleasure to look at and hold. Great workmanship and I like the sheath too.

Ya know, I try to be a fairly subdued person, but when you handle some knives, they tend to conjure up images of sneaking around in the dark in foreign lands with bad intentions............not my gig, but this blade certainly has that aura about it!! Thanks for the knife.

I eagerly await the new line along with the others. SK

I've found that the most important aspect of sneaking around foriegn lands with bad intentions is looking good while doing it. And Busse Combat Knives help you do that... now where is that reporter and camera crew...:grumpy:  :D

yes there is a personal story in there somewhere... I told you all I'm a shell shocked bastid...

Yes SpearHead............Busse's and Ray Bans.........just like carrots and peas!!:)

I want a 1/4"+ Satin Jack SOOOOOO Bad. Even found a nice one, but the current owner won't sell it to me :)

Congrats on that Jack!

Thanks again Eric for posting my pic and thanks to everyone for the replies............very proud and I really love these knives!

If I had to choose just one for my personal carry knife........I just couldn't. (Badger Attack included) Everyone who looks at the 1/4" model Satin Jack picks it up and just says "Whoa!" That thick blade really stands out and feels good in the hand. Yet the 3/16" model feels very similar and seems to whisper in your ear "Bad, Wicked, Nasty." The green and black micarta handle even looks better in person. Gorgeous.

Guess it would look kinda silly to have a knife on each side with one in the boot.......but then again........one does have to make small sacrifices in life every once in a while now don't they?!:)

p.s. I think I have room on the scanner for one more....!......SK
