Amphibian Ram-Lok chamfering?

Been eyeing the Microtech Amphibian Ram-Lok, but in looking at photos the scales lack the chamfering/rounding that makes the manual Stitch so comfortable in-hand. Not having the opportunity to handle one before I buy it, I'm curious if any Amphibian owners would mind weighing in on whether the handle feels "sharp" or uncomfortable in use.

Thanks in advance. :)

I havent noticed anything that stuck out to me as uncomfortable......but im not picky on sharp scale edges and textures etc.

Thanks! Being a fusspot is how I keep my collection small these days. 🤣
I find the handle mostly comfortable except for this area behind the guard where your index finger lies. It is a little edgy where the g10 is so thin.View attachment 2542986View attachment 2542987
Yeah that spot looks a bit suspect to me. Great pics, thank you!

These pics are the first I've seen to highlight that there's interior chamfering/rounding on these scales. I guess the extra large fluted chamfers on most of each scale must do a similar job well if folks aren't finding this knife pokey in-hand.

I will concur with W. It's not terrible, but I would say that if you were to bear down on the grip and really let it saw around in your hand, you'd find it noticeable.

For what it's worth the MSI has a similar "problem", It doesn't seem to affect me, but I can see how it can bother others.

I've had the Ram-Lom Stitch and currently have an Amphibian. The Amphibian is noticeably harsher on hands, but you can probably knock the corners down with abrasives to help a bit.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the scales, gang! Really appreciate it. :)

I had to sandpaper the edges of the handle on my Amphibian. I didn’t have to do that on my MSI. After knocking down the edges, I’ve had no discomfort from the grip on the Amphibian.
