I know that this is a Busse knife forum (I guess we are suppose to talk about that sweet INFI) but.....I have a story for you all, I guess I must just vent about the afternoon/evening from H#LL! So Amy-0 takes her parents and her sisters to a surprise 45th Anniversary party for some great friends of ours who's daughters decided to throw this great shin-dig for their parents....Anyways it is about a hour drive from where i live so my family met me here at my house we left from here.......yes in one car.....What the heck was I thinking........We were suppose to be at the destination by 4:45 pm cause the the anniversary couple was suppose to arrive at 5:30 (hence the surprise) well my dad decides that Amy-0 has no idea how to get to destination that we need to be so (even though I go there all the time) we must leave by 2:00 pm...............Long story but it here is how it ends.We get there way to early so we decide to go someplace to waste time, A outdoor mall area so we all go to walk around......the two people that have keys to car walk to starbucks and the rest try to get into the car cause it was rather chilly..............Car alarm goes off..............and goes off..........and Amy-0 has no keys to turn it off................Police officers come and ask what the promblem is...............Amy-0 replies ........My Family really gets on my nerves........(wrong answer) they ask again.........I try to explain the whole dreaded story that I put you thru........The Police Officer (Bless Him) asked who has the keys? I reply my 76 year Dad and Good Luck finding him cause I have Tried to call his cell phone and I have looked for him.......Than the Police officer looks at me and descibes my Dad to a tee and says"I just saw him at Starbucks and he was asking me a bunch of questions about the area and apologized cause his cell phone kept going off............That was my night we went back to Anniversary party got that thing done and guess what ..........AMY-0 is home and drinking..........cause for once I deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Gotta love myfamily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks for listioning all................I feel better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy so sorry about what happened but sometimes it is good to vent.
The frustration you experienced must have been excruciating. Thank goodness you have friends here who can lend you some sympathy.
Take care girl and don't drink too much. You are loved by everybody here at Busse Combat Forums.

Gee, that must be my problem, have always heard that one should have a "bite of the dog that bit you" but never have tried it.

Think I'll try it tomorrow morning. :D ...just to see what happens.

Wait, I'm still amazed about the part where a police officer stops because of a car alarm. "Dorothy, were not in Kansas anymore." :D

Amy,

This is still and INFI post because imagine how easy it would have been to silence the car alarm with a HOFSH or HOBM. The policeman is another story.

Drink up and relax. ;)

Should be "Keep breathing keep drinking".
I've forgotten the breathing part once or twice and it really cuts into the drinking time.:D

Well Amy I bet my saturday sucked more than yours!!! lol!!

This past weekend was moving weekend for us. Here's my hell of a weekend story for you guys!

So the first house we lived in together we rented. Brand new house, we were the first ones to live in it. We decided awhile ago that we needed a bigger house. So friday we started moving our furniture out and we finally finished on saturday afternoon.

A friend of mine came over to help us clean, Tiffany. Tiff was cleaning the kitchen, I was cleaning the back bathroom, and Tony decided he wanted to shampoo the carpets(even though I just shampooed them 1 1/2 month ago). Anyway, he shampoos the 2 back bedrooms and goes into the living room and shampoos that. I come walking out of the bathroom and as I'm walking out I glance into one of the bedrooms and I seriously about crapped my pants! I know that's a bit forward but I really almost did! LOL!!

I scream at Tony to stop shampooing and he turns around to see what I am yelling about and his mouth drops to the floor! For some strange reason the carpet was starting to turn color!!!!

His mother had put resolve carpet cleaner in the shampooer when she barrowed it. The resolve she used had bleach in it. Well, we now have to pay to have new carpet put throughout the house because there are large light colored streaks all over the carpet! I can truely say that I never been so mad in my entire life!

The enitre 2 years that we have lived there I have been so striked on the boys not to take drinks into the carpeted parts of the house. It did me no good.

So there was my weekend. It Sucked!

Mother-in-laws. Can't live with 'em, can't put them in a burlap sack and toss them in a creek. (legally) :o

Sorry to hear about the troubles. I would have been livid too.

Amy-0,
The next time you are feeling all frustrateda and need to vent, please don't drink. Just go back to the shop and write me a letter expressing your frustrations. Don't hold back! Then when you have finished and are starting to feel better, package the letter up in a box with a knife or two and mail it to me!

It will make you feel a lot better, I promise!

Got it I will do that, I guess the forum felt my frustration because it shut down for the weekend! Ha Ha........

My wife made a casserole to serve at a church potluck. She put it in the church's oven before the service and set the oven to "Warm".

She instructed me to go and get the casserole out of the oven after the service and put it on the buffet table. I got into the kitchen and discovered that someone had set the oven on broil. Her casserole (and another lady's) was burned beyond belief (~ an hour on broil)!

The real kicker was later on, we found out my wife had accidentally set the oven on broil without realizing it. :( Two of the ladies pointed it out to her separately, making her feel even more stupid.

To console her, I told her it was no big deal because after all...the other lady had put her casserole into the oven AFTER my wife set the oven...and she didn't notice it either!

Sorry to hear about your crappy weekends, Amy-O and Blade Babe!

In other (good) news, my CC has been charged for my Extravaganza blades... ;)
