I just got 2 AKs today and I am totally stoked. One is black and black, the other black and green. Now this is what I originally ordered. BUT, less than 24 hours after ordering, I call the BCS (left a message after I could not get through on multiple attempts) and sent an e-mail requesting that my black and green be changed to black and gray instead. Well, obviously, nobody ever got the word.

Now I will say this is not really a problem since I love the black and green even more than the black and black, but, is there a sure-fire way to avoid this kind of thing in the future? I know you folks are super-service oriented, but rather than deal with the hassle of sending one back and all the fun that goes with that kind of thing, what would you folks suggest?

BTW, my order # is 1480 if you need a point of reference.

Skunk is way faster than that.

I ordered my AK, and 23 seconds later Skunk came huffing and puffing up the driveway with a giant sack of INFI on his back. :eek:



Then again, you could post in the exchange and make a trade for a grey one.

amy's in the shower now so i'll handle this for her...

i would guess we were out drinking on our trip, sooooo i'll have to blame it on amy-0 as i'm sure she was probably sober.

problem is we are so damned fast a lot of times this will happen. we have people wanting to add tags, scabbards, scotch and the likes to an order the next day but alas! their order has already been shipped.

i'll see what we can do... maybe we will slow it down to a couple of weeks to give room for error.

and this time, for you our very special HOG, please send the offending sword back to the return address on the label and we will ship you a new sword and refund you back the shipping. :thumbup:

make sure you haven't pounded it in to any damned cinder blocks or shot it with torpedos and we will take care of you.

Slow down your shipping times by at least 18 days.

These Hogs need to learn some patience anyway. :thumbup:

Thanks for getting back with me. I think you misread my initial post -- I am not sending the green one back because I like it too much. :D :D I was just trying to figure out how if the same type of situation popped up in the future for me or someone else, is there something else that I could have done to get the word to you folks. It sounds like you all are basically just too dang fast. Oh well, I can live with that. Thanks for the info!!!:thumbup:
 
well this was a strange dealio...

first you didn't get an email confirmation as we had to go in and pull your order from another record. we didn't get one either.

then we sorted and shipped a huge order of wardens, we left town thinking all was well and well

we just screwed up!

best thing if this ever happens again is to email the company store as you tried to do.

the email gets routed to several different email boxes for security.

no matter how you buy a busse from us you should ALWAYS receive a email confirmation from miva (shopping cart people)

anyway, i have stuck 7 gray swords away for you so when you are ready we will have them!

Thanks for looking into things. As I say, I am very stoked about getting the AKs (ahem... a few GWs too ;) ) and don't regret getting the green/black combo at all. I will say though that I am having a very hard time resisting the urge to go into my back yard and try one of these AKs on some overgrown, thorny Bougainvilleas.

Wait just a cotton picking minute! Scotch? I didn't know we could order scotch! Skunk on my next shipment I'll take one bottle of Sheep Dip and one bottle on Pig's Nose to go!!!!!
