Yes I know those of us who hang out here on a regular basis have heard or said this many times. Yes it's a no brainer that she is a wonderful person who seems to be able to juggle (multi-task) a dozen things at a time without missing a beat, yes she has the patience of a saint, yes she seems to have this uncanny ability to know each us as individuals and as a whole, and yes she is extremely cute!

But...the more I talk to her the more I realize that this is more than a job for this gal, it's personal to her. I swear it's as if she not only has Busse Combat's back but ours as well. I'll be damned it's almost Motherly! "Mess with one of mine and you'll end up on my list" and as we all know....the "list" is not the place to be!

Anyhow....this was the impression I was left with today after talking to the fine lady 3 times. Thanks again Amy...for all that we know you do and all the stuff we never hear about!:thumbup:

Both. ...A while ago. I used to be really into his books & novellas... Still one of my favorites is The Stand... Also It & Tommyknockers were good reads too. :thumbup:

Yep, Amy-0 is great and makes a MEAN cheesecake!

Honestly, if you start getting to know some of the other folks from the shop, you start to get an idea of how Jerry hires people. He surrounds himself with good people. I don't mean just technically good, though, if they weren't, we wouldn't be buying the steel.

He surrounds himself with folks you would like to have as a neighbor. People with whom you would enjoy hunting, camping, and just hanging out around. Basically, good people. There are a number of these folks I've spent enough time around that I would do anything for 'em. Folks I would call my friends.

Amy is awesome, truly. Vibrant, alive, genuine... in your face. Behind the scenes (but at a lot of shows) you've got Cathy, Lora, Josh, Ron (I ain't checking out your butt,) Waaaaaaazz(!!), Bubble, Kendra - just some awesome folks.

And Garth... a scarier sense of humor I've never found! Dead pan, quiet then the Joker smile emerges. Somebody is gonna get hurt. Maybe from laughter - maybe it's the MagnetMan! Either way, definitely someone I count as a friend.

Whole point of this little diatribe? It's not a coincidence when you find someone from the shop is a genuinely neat person. Jerry planned it that way.

[Man, I know I'm gonna forget someone from the shop... it's not intentional. I won't even begin to expound on how I like the rest of you guys that I know from Blade or the forum. I have added some friends as a direct result of this place - friends that get together and hang out - drink - shoot the... something.
