Years ago they were selling a BB machine gun that ran off automotive freon cans. Tended to freeze up during long bursts...

There was a lot of hue and cry about the thing, and of course that was before the screaming about freon in the atmosphere. Can't recall the name of the thing, but I remember reading a test where the guy was using it to shoot down dragonflies....hehe.
