Picked this up at a local gun show this weekend. Thought i would ask the guy what he had on it, so he could tell me whatever number he could come up with above retail value. I was shocked when he quoted me a price that was less than half of what i have seen on the big online sites for a NIB knife. It was the first knife I had ever purchased at a show, because the prices are usually so high. Guess it was just my day. It was also my first Military.

sorry for the junk cell phone pic.

Didn't know such a thing existed! A good deal on anything at a gun show is a good day, much less a spyderco military. In digicamo too. My favorite.

Nice buy!

The local gun shows here i generally pic up a few knives cheap because they have no clue what they are selling, especially old kabars

The guy looked a bunch of spyderco boxes. Asked me to identify the box that belonged with the knife because he didnt know which model was which, then he stared at the box for about 30 seconds and quoted me a price.

I have found today, that it cuts broccoli, and gutter tubing filled with mud, equally well.

Wow. I only see msrp or above except a Mora that I picked up for less than I could find with shipping a few months ago. Good snag.

I have picked up a number of knives at gunshows. It shouldn't be your focus of the show, but you can find some good prices at times. The stuff that you have to be careful of are the military collectable knives (lots of repo's).

Not worried about fakes, they are a reputable seller. I have owned quite a few spyerco's and this one is good to go. I did however see 2 fake para 2's at another booth. Since you are in tennessee, we probably have atteneded many of the same shows.
