An addiction as bad as INFI?

It started over a year ago, when I bought a Dan Wesson CCO to go with the two Colt Combat Commanders I have had for years. Loved the CCO,decided I wanted a 10 mm DW Heritage, but one never came in to the GS. So I started watching for a .45 ACP Heritage to replace my SIG GSR which went away due to an unfortunate set of circumstances. I got tired of waiting for the Heritage that never came about three months ago, so I bought another SIG 1911, a 5" Nightmare. Went in the GS the very next week, and they were just putting a new RZ45 Heritage in the display case. So I bought it and settled in with what I thought was my lifetime battery of 1911's.

Two weeks later they had a brand new DW Valor, their top of the line .45. I bought it. (They offered me $750 trade for the Nightmare, but my feeling was for that amount I had just as soon keep it as a gun in reserve.) Now I was surely fixed forever, except that I still did not have the 10mm.

so today I walked in another LGS, and there lay my grail gun that I had never ordered because of the extended waiting periods. This opportunity would probably never present itself again. A new 6" slide
10mm Nighthawk, only the second one I had ever seen in a GS. Need I say it?

My kids' inheritance is vanishing fast to INFI and 1911's! I suppose I ought to feel guilty.:D

I started into knives because I THOUGHT it would be cheaper than guns. Now I'm stuck with two addictions...... It's a good thing I don't have kids, or they might be sold into slavery already! :p:D:cool:

Oh, and PICS PLEASE!

It's entirely possible that the INFI and 1911's do better than your 401K so your kids may end up thanking you!:) Enjoy mate.........

Thankfully guns are a little trickier to own here in Aus or I'd well and truly have two addictions. Knives and harsh language it is!

My PC is in the hands of the Geek Squad at present, and I am using the wife's laptop, so no pics until I get my PC back.

I feel your pain. However my pain is greater as I have to reinvest my gun/knife money and do not take money out of the pay check. Therefore I am constantly selling guns for knives and vice versa whenever a new something I want to try comes out. I have never even seen a Nighthawk in person. You must have some great gunstores in your local.

+1 . I trust INFI in the safe over 401k plans that only let you choose from a bunch of dogs to invest in. It would be nice if investing in INFI was considered a 401k or ROTH IRA legally. LOL

No more addictions here. Lil Darling took charge of the funds.

This is my biggest fear. We'd probably end up being able to afford that big, fancy house that she wants. :foot:

Smart man. Don't put the evidence on her PC. Whenever I get a new gun or knife without telling the wife. I just leave it out in plain view like I'm doing something with it for a few days (it's just the two of us, we don't have any kids etc leading to any kind of safety issue). She honestly can't tell the difference. I admit it's evil but it works. All of the black rifles, handguns and knives run together for her apparently. :o
