Truthfully, I don't use my BK-2 that much. But every time I do. I find myself thinking what a cool knife it really is.

Had some grilling prep to do, so for a change i grabbed the 2.

Reducing wood to a good size for grilling, no problem,

Strolled out to the woods and relieved some downed trees of their bark, no problem,

Made some kindling, to get things going, we have had a ton of rain here lately. Right through the knots, no problem,

Some fuzz sticks, just because. No Problem,

All in all, a very capable blade,

Now on to the grilling section,

Do you grill on the very top or slide the grate in on the lower level? Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Just to get caught up,

You can never have enough wood!
Actually, I cook there a lot, all year round. So the wood supply takes a beating. Love doing breakfast out there.

The beer can is a mini keg that I turned into a charcoal chimney, for days I'm too lazy to deal with the wood. The keg was the same price as a real chimney and it came full of beer. A no brainer for me. I do still need to build a better heat shield for it though. Right now you have to be careful not to touch the keg with your hands as it get real hot.

The grate slides in on the lower rails by the rocks, the top keeps the rain off the fire and serves as a geart warming tray.

Sometimes I don't even cook. It just a nice place to have a fire.

And on occasion this,

Helps you forget about this,

I seem to go through more wood on nights like that,
