I went shopping today, but it's ok 'cause I bought meat. I opened up the packs to put them into smaller packages, and holy cow there were some thick chops, and big steaks, so I pulled my Izula out of my new hoopster made kydex (Thanks Eric!) and put it to work. Some of the pork chops were close to 4 inches thick! I don't think I could have cooked them properly without burning them. Enjoy the meaty goodness!!

Who would have guessed that the Izula was a meat eater:D

Well now that I know Izulas are meat eaters I better go feed mine.

I got it from hoopster. He is a member on BF and a Rat pack member. Great guy and great product. I think he has a thread in the for sale section.

beautiful, both on the chops and the knife. i've only used mine to cut cooked steak and spam. um any concern with the paracord kinda soaking in the juices?

Not really, they were so thick I actually had to make a couple of passes to get all the way through. The paracord never really got into it. Besides, paracord is cheap, I can rewrap it if it gets nasty.

You probably paid more for all that meat than you did your Izula :D

Thanks for putting up the pictures, I like seeing the sheaths at their new homes. The Izula is fun to use even when another knife would work isn't it.

The Becker/ESEE collaboration on the Necker/Izula morph should be coming out soon.
