Guys, I messed up.

I have been in a period of self-imposed exile after I posted images on here with an image server that helpfully replaced the pictures I uploaded of a sheath I made for my TGLB with porn. :mad:

I understand this may have caused some problems for some of you guys who looked at my post while at work. I am sorry if I caused anyone any problems - particularly a guy by the name of 'hogworthy': mate, I am truly sorry If I got you into trouble.

Also, I would like to apologise to anyone who was offended by the phrase I used to describe the sheath. In the UK, the term 'gay' is used colloquially in equivalence to how Americans would use the word 'lame', and is not generally used in the derogatory sense towards a person or group of persons.

Again, I apologise and hope you folks can forgive me.

Didn't see it. Maybe you should private message me a link of this so called "porn" to asses it's offensiveness. That said, there are big boys on here, though I'm sure the genuine apology is appreciated by those whose corporate overlords are not as understanding.

In my country, also in Europe, "gay" ,too, is used quite fondly to denote lame.

I suggest you use photobucket or flickr to host your pix from now on so you don't get any more "help" with your pictures. ;)

Good apology - people make mistakes.

I remember one day in the cube farm, I got an email from a friend who is a salesman and does quite a bit of travelling.

He mentioned a Paris Hilton video, and having never heard of Paris Hilton at that point, I thought it was a video that he had taken while on a business trip.

I clicked the link and was instantly sorry I did, although I was able to keep anyone from seeing it before I could shut down that page -

Never again! Like I said - it happens.
