An Apology ...

To those of you who saw the thread about knife criticism, I'd like to apologize for my reaction. I had no intention of causing a flame war or instigating an argument. I get very little free time and in it, I like to peruse the forums and had a topic I wished to discuss. I understand that the way I worded it may have struck a cord with a few members of the community. It was not my intention to do so. I have been a forum watcher here for quite a while and recently decided to create an account and become an active member.

I have no intention of causing drama. I simply wanted to discuss a topic with the community that I am passionate about. I overreacted to the negative responses and accept blame for the direction the thread took. I also, would like to apologize for misposting in the wrong subforum.

I hope to be able to participate in a community that shares some of the same passions I do and humbly ask for forgiveness from those I may have offended.

Thank you

That's cool. :)
Most of us have flipped out a time or two along the way. :D

We were all new at one time although some of us just seemed to have been here since Genesis. ;) It's a great forum with great people, just need a roadmap and a few minutes to read the stickies before navigating the main and sub forums. ;)

Welcome back. No harm no foul!

Best

Daniel, don't sweat it too much. Things happen, people get angry and freak out. Whatever forum you are on, regardless of the topic will have hypercritical and hyperacclaim for one product over another and vice-versa. It's the nature of the discussion and model of forums in general. If we all agreed and just liked the same things, it would be boring as can be. If you have any questions or if I can help shoot me an email.

Good on the OP for the apology, and good on Rev for, as always, being a gentleman.

Welcome to Bladeforums. Your free bowl of soup is on the way!
Lots of great people here, and a few not so great ones as well. Glad you looped back around. Have a great weekend.

The majority of us, including myself, have had times when we have over reacted here at one time or another. What defines us are the actions we take afterwards. Glad to have you along for the ride Daniel.
