Earler this month I was kind of hard on Kershaw. In the remarks I made (SEE
THREAD BLUR SUCKS) But Mr. Thomas and his Company he represents came
through like troopers. It was not just one blade I had problems with but two
actually. But the man is going to handle it. And I did appoligize to him and thanked him in my E-Mail to him.
Now as far as my behavior, We were in the ship yard. As I have stated before
I am in the Marine industry. We depend on our knives with our lives.
If we happen to get entangled in some mooring line we have to be able to cut
free or be dragged overboard and drowned or seriously injured. Unlike some
folks on here that just use a knife for meanial tasks and taking an occasional
walk. However, I was hot and had been working since 0500 that morning.
I should have waited to make my thread. This is no excuse but I wanted to
shed a little light on the situation. I just wanted to let the members know
that I did appoligize to Mr. Thomas and thanked him also.

Hey, it takes a man to admit when he is wrong......Thanks !! You are correct in that your are not using your kinfe to open boxes and that you have more at stake in your kinfe's performance......

It's all good Cleve.
We all fly off at times and regret things we say.
Kershaw are quality knives and people.
I only have 4 of there knives but they are amongst my favourites.

Cleve, that shows a lot of character. It's one thing to make a quick phone call to apologize, but to do it in a public forum shows you're a real stand up kinda guy.

I agree this shows what kind of person you are  . Everyone gets hot sometime, but its those who make amendments for their actions.

Everybody knows how easy it is to get worked up when something that you spend hard earned money falls below your expectations.

Kershaw and Thomas have not surprised me. Service after the sale is a good reason to buy from some companies and not from others. I don't think its any secret to people around here what catagory Kershaw falls into.

Good to see that things are working out!

I have found that Kershaw makes excellent knives and that when one bad one slips by they fix it and take very good care of their customer.

Cleve, I am glad it is all working out for you. That is good to hear.
