An auspicious occasion

On Monday I recieved a phone call from a soon to be bridegroom (tomorrow) who needed a gift for his best man. I mailed the parcel on Monday afternoon from Toronto, Canada.

IT ARRIVED IN TEXAS ON THURSDAY!!!

I think three day service across an international border ranks in the catagory of a minor miracle. We often malign the postal services in both our countries but this time they got it right.

My wife and I had our annual dental check-up on Wednesday. Today -- Friday -- we received the 70% reimbursement from our medical insurance company. Suddenly, I'm afraid... very afraid
