I took this picture of my Victorinox Gardener for a post in another sub-forum about what your Swiss Army Knife did today:

I liked the setting so much I decided to stage a few more shots on the same stump.

Nice setting with the leafes :) ... and nice knifes, too :D

Not joking - great pics, Doug!

Colorful photos of some nice knives, Doug. Fall is a beautiful time of the year.

Great pics Doug, some beauties there

Now see Doug, GEC makes nothing with the lines of those Case or Schrade knives. The pictures above express your feeling in another thread by you the other day.

Thanks for the pictures.

Absolutely beautiful pictures,Doug. You captured the feeling of Autumn my friend!

Knives among the leaves

Knives among the leaves
Boker, Case, Schrade, whatever you please
All summer long you gathered and stored
Honed and oiled your growing hoard
And now you feel the crisp fresh cool air
The smells and colors dancing around Summers despair
The leaves of Autumn fade to red and yellow
Thoughts of druids begin to stir a fellow
Of oak and mistletoe and waxing crescent moon
Snow falls from crocus skies all too soon
But through preparation, warm smoking your pipe with rapt delight
We get to drink the beauty of your pictures on this fine October night

You have talent with words, my friend! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.

What a great poem for a rain-snowy and windy bavarian autumn afternoon - thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

A lot more leaves have fallen since I took those pictures yesterday, and the sky is overcast instead of sunny (hurricane Sandy on the way here). Nonetheless, I snapped a couple more this morning.
