Greetings!

I recently received the new generation fighting Bowie from Jerry Hossom to test, and I am so impressed that I thought you fellow FMA knife players out there should know about it.

Jerry has been working very closely over the last several months with myself, my friend, training partner, and tremendous knife player Jason Silverman- of Executive Edge Martial Development @ http://home.earthlink.net/~grappler/ Don Rearic, and Matt Draper of the Forums, to develop the finest fighting knives and swords on the planet. His bowies have already won many awards and have a tremendous reputation for their light weight, handling charactoristics, and cutting ability. But, let me tell you, this new generation bowie is something else.

Take a minute to read my review @ http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001214.html

Let me know what you think.

One thing I will say for Jerry Hossom is that his knives are priced right. Its nice to be able to get a great custom blade and not pay a small fortune for the knife. Jerry Hossom, Ed Schott and others are worth looking into because you literally will spend just dollars more than what you would spend on a factory knife and get a great custom blade. Why have a factory blade when you can have a kick ass custom. Opps I think I might have to edit myself.

Tsk, tsk, Donna; indeed you should edit yourself!

There's no such word as "opps!"

Donna,

Good morning! I couldn't agree with you more.
For the amount of work that Jerry puts into his knives to hollow grind the blades, achieve perfect grind lines, add bolsters and those incredible ergonomic scales and then finish everything so it shines like some sculpture- the price is cheap!

BTW, if you all have a minute, take a look at the results of my leg of lamb cutting test @

I think that you'll find the results interesting- Heh, heh, heh...
