An Early Christmas for me! What's on your list?

I think these four knives I just received today will complete my 2014 spending on blades. So, what do you still want to acquire this year?

I was a little skeptical at first since these have not officially went on sale yet, so I contacted Kershaw/Kai U.S.A. They confirmed that a few of these have been leaked and looked it up by serial number and it is the real deal.

Whoa! You had a VERY nice early Christmas.

I have three I hope to obtain before the New Year.

1) ZT 0562CF
2) GEC #99
3) Kershaw Camber
 
1 month on the forum with 12 posts to your name, and you already have nicer knives than I'll ever be able to afford :D

I'm joking. Congrats on those LE's, though. KAI has come out with some outstanding products this year.

I had been pining over a blackwash ZT 0566 for months, and I actually got one a week ago. So I'm not really asking for anything knife-related. Well.......maybe a scale for it.
 
Wow! That's fantastic! I snagged a 0454 on the night of the release and am still debating whether or not I want to give the Ruby a try tonight. Guess we'll see...

As for knives I'd like to pick up before the new year, I recently got the itch for a 0620CF when I saw another forum member who reprofiled one to remove the secondary point and give it some belly. Exquisite looking blade.
 
It's simply not going to happen for me this year, but I am asking Santa for one of the following:
Emerson SOFCK
Emerson CQC 13
Emerson Tiger
Spyderco Tatanka
ZT 0200SW
ZT 0620CF

This holiday season, some good people I know are going to sponsor some local families and help their kids and their family members have a good holiday season. I have not bought anything in a while and I've got the itchy trigger finger, but must abstain for now.

Thank you, those are nice choices. I especially like that ZT 0562CF. Now I'm in trouble. I have been looking up every knife I see mentioned on here that I am not familiar with and my want list is getting BIG! I recently saw the ZT 0770CF in M390 and am hinting to the fiancee that it would make an excellent gift.

Thanks, I figure I had better get these LE knives while I can (and willing to spend some money). Can't go wrong with ZT and the 0566 is no exception. Very nice.

Well, good luck if you attempt to get The Ruby tonight. I am not really a fan of tanto knives, but reprofiling that knife would look sweet. Do you have a link to the original post? I would like to see that.

Those are all nice choices, but that Emerson CQC 13 really stands out to me. Good for you guys! I think helping others in need is important and hope you and those families have a great holiday season.

Nothing particular on the wish list for me. If funds permit maybe my first CRK. But I need to sell some off first. So that probably won't be till next year.

I didn't end up going for the Ruby. Kinda forgot about it by the time 6PM PDT rolled around, which I guess means it wasn't that important to me. haha Since we're wishing here, I've had my eye on a Shirogorov of some sort. Frame lock on bearings with M390 steel. I also need to find a way to get the pocket clip switched to left hand carry for me, which will likely end up coming down to getting a custom, or at least having someone drill and tap it for me (because I still want a standard right handed frame lock, oddly enough). But unfortunately, that won't be arriving for Christmas, or anytime soon. That'll probably have to wait until after pharmacy school.
 
My girlfriend has bought me a Aogami Super Blue Delica for Christmas. She let me put some oil on the blade before confiscating it from me. Waiting patiently for the 25th of December. Man it looks like a nice knife. Not just the laminated blade but the whole knife seems special, it seems to have thicker frn handles and the overall fit and finnish seems superior to my other Delicas.
 
I got myself a second Wilson Combat Eagle for a spare. At those prices that's enough for me and knives this year.

Oddly enough, it arrives on my birthday. So I killed two birds with one stone. Nice!

The 13 is a piece I've been eyeballing for a long time now, but has eluded me for just as long. Thanks for the comments, sometimes life deals people a bad hand and folks might just need a little push to get over the hump and reinvigorated. :thumbup:

It'll be more of a late Xmas rather than an early one for me I think. I am holding out for either a Southard Avo or ZT0392. I'll end up with which ever I can get my hands on first. Hopefully the Avo as I don't want to wait until the 392 is finally released which could be in time for Xmas next year. Maybe i'll end up with both....maybe.
 
I have been wanting a Spyderco Police for years. I'm kind of hoping but not expecting to get one for Christmas.
