Hi there! Lately I was busy with cleaning up a bit and put some order among the pictures folders back in the city heat and re-discovered these ones from one hike last spring in the mountains. Refreshing :) !

Pictured here is a sub-alpine pasture land (elevation around 900 - 1000 meters). Amazing was the Crocus vernus albiflorus “carpet”. The day was mostly cloudy and we had few light showers in hiking up (reached 1800 meters elevation), but sun came out eventually on the way down, when we sat to have a snack and a coffee. We were alone and the surroundings looked kind of “magic”. Time to go back hiking in the mountains :). Just to share.

That must have been a great trip. I would love to spend a night or two in one of those old houses. To wake up to a view like this would be haven.

No yellow ones ?? Those put to shame my tiny 2 square meter plot !
That's a good example of why you should go away from the tourist places at least at times.
