I changed jobs about 7 years ago and have ad an EDC daily since. My carry items have changed often over the years especially knives and flashlights. I started out carrying only folder knives. I have carried a model from almost every major manufacturer at one time or another. The last year or so I experimented with some FB in the mix. I started carrying FB from the major manufacturers and about 6 months ago I decided to try some of the fine custom knife maker's here. I tried about 5 different ones before stumbling onto an EWOK for sale by a member. Since then I have bought several JK knives and my current EDC rotation contains the following;

I still have several other knife brands, but currently find myself carrying JK knives almost exclusively. I just received the pocket scandi today and I am waiting for the ultralight pocket companion and an anniversary edc to join the rotation towards the end of the month. I also have several ordered over the next few months and see no end to the trend.

I never thought I could/would carry a FB instead of a folder, but I couldn't be happier with these knives and can't say enough about John and his customer service.

Great blades buddy, how d'ya find the scandi cuts compared to the others ?

I just received it tonight and this is my first scandi, but I REALLY like it so far. It seems to cut as well as anything that I have had and better then most. I look forward to spending some time time this weekend finding things to cut. :D

nice selection of blades there.. i have an E.W.O.K. and love it...:thumbup: love that pocket scandi too...:D

I thought the EWOK was the end all be all to daily carry until I received the pocket scandi. My preference of carry is in the front left pocket and the scandi is near perfect for ME. It has great dimensions and has been a blast to play with the last few days. This is my first experience with a scandi grind and I am a fan. I have been putting it through the paces with wood, cardboard and just about everything I can find to cut and it has exceeded expectations. Haven't carried the EWOK since it arrived.

I like it so much that I have been DROOLING over the scandi pocket companion John has available now. ;)

My ewok is one of my favorites, but the above scandi has my interest. Any more pics? Sheath too please.

I had the wife take a few pictures for me. The EWOK and a Hunter JR are also in the pictures for reference. I purchased the additional pocket sheath and it holds two of the knives or one and a EDC light.

Here are a few with the sheath in pocket. The last one is a picture of the double sheath in my front pocket with the pocket scandi and the EWOK.
