Well done Bosse. You've been missed around here. Been at the cabin?

Kamagong, nice to be here.
I have had an extremly busy autumn. I have learned a new extensive therapymethod at work meaning much reading in the evenings. And my sons now 10 and 7 years has started playing tabletennis and crosscountry skiing. On top of that Im probobly having a midagecrisis mening I have commited to ski Vasaloppet, 90 km crosscountryskiing mening I have to train a lot. But I have been fishing in the lappland cabin and moosehunting in the Digerberget cabin so to answer your question I have been on good vacation to.
As for knifes I been on hold, but sometimes reading here and catching up on whats happening. I have also made a work to find a good piece of a swedish nice and vintage folding slipjoint. I have been a member here for 10 years soon and also soon reached 1000 posts and I want to hold a giveaway for that. Meant I realy needed to learn posting pictures here. Its a nice knife and I wanted to be sure I could show how it looks.
Sadly I havent had much time in my workshop. Working with crosscountry skis takes a lot of time with iron and wax. I also have been working on a chair for my grandfather. Time will come when I can spend time with works I comited to.
As for knifes I have carried my new Buck 303 a little and mostly my new Case swayback jack. I love that knife, useful in an impractikal way. very nice look and feel and god enough cutting power. Im not realy into eather Warncliffe or penblades, but in this special case I love the overall feeling.

Comoha. Here is some more fish for you. This is a less warm and lucky day.
I often put a knife in my fishpiktures for sizecomparison.
The knife is a homemade knife based om a blade from swedish blacksmith Björkman and the blade is 9 cm long and the blade is a little thicker than most swedisch traditionals at ca 3.5 mm and tappered towards the tip. Good edgeholding and easy to get sharp.

Well, what can I say. I do some fishing once in a while. This is the trapper SunnyD gifted me soon 4 years ago. it has been an companion in the outdoors more than once and its a nice slipjointpattern to use if the work is a little bigger.

Now I want a fish dinner! There's no fishing like that anywhere near here. That trapper will get a workout.

The first one with the bucket is fishing in the authumn with a net accumulating food for winter. We fished like that for three days and will have fish untill springwinter. The other two is fishing with rod at winter during the ice. Pity about the fishing, I wish for anyone here to get a good catch. But I know I live in a good place, with even for my environment good opportunitys and privilege.

That's a lot of nice looking fish.

I'm really curious to see what you have found for a Swedish slipjoint.

Great posts. Glad to see them.
