Hey guys, just got in a design I had made by Allen. I think it's pretty neat and I'm very excited about it. I hope you like it, I'd love to hear your thoughts! (there's lots more details on it in the balisong forum)

That may be the coolest bali that I have seen. This may be a stupid question, but why are the two parts of the handle unequal in length. I don't recall seeing that in the past. Not that I have seen all the Balis out there.

That extreme hawk blade is fantastic.

That is just plain cool! Any chance of getting a video of you flipping it? It looks like it could be an interesting challenge!

Hey all, thanks for the kind words. I do appreciate it!

Keith - the offset handles are to allow for the blade to be canted off at the 80 degree angle. You haven't seen that before cause, well, I don't think it's been done before. :)

fVf - I can't make videos, and there's folks a lot better at flipping than me, but... I assure you that it manipulates surprisingly normally. It feels pretty much the same for a lot of manipulations, I haven't tried any aerials yet, though. :)

armsraised - I only have a couple more pictures. I hope to get some better ones this weekend or next week. But you can see them on my site here.

No prob.:) That bali is a marvel of engineering, I imagine you had quite a few head aches after leaving the drafting board! CAD does help a little though.
Again, just too cool. Heck of a collaberation.

Keith - yup, the picture show the knife in fully open and fully closed position. You'll notice that in the closed position the stop pin (the pin on the tang above the handles) is off to the right - where normally it would be centered between the two handles. That determines where the handles will stop in their rotations.

fVf - thanks for the compliment! it wasn't the easiest to draw, but it wasn't the hardest either. Heh!
