I am enjoying a light read by Katherine Kurz. It is St. Patrick's Gargoyle. Without giving too much away, gargoyles are the appointed guardians of various places of historical importance in the, presumably, Christian parts of the world and they need the assistance of an elderly gentleman in one of their tasks. The gargoyle of the title is the guardian of St. Patrick's Cathederal in Dublin.
A highlight is what I call the "Theology of Gargoyles" or how gargoyles came to be.
Good fun!
