Have NO idea ....how....it happened, but the FIRST day I take my SAK out of my new pouch and carry it loose in pocket......I take it out an it's OPEN!!!

Luckily only lost one WEE widdy bit of end of middle finger. Dint even slice the pocket.

NO idea how this could happen.

"Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they arn't after me."

Not sure who said that but I will forever remember it.

oooooo......that's happened to me too. scared the buh-geebees out of me. Sent my finger right into the end of the blade.

I don't pocket carry much anymore. :(

What the hell!? You must have put it in your pocket already opened! :( Hope the finger feels better.

Wow, that seems pretty odd to have happened on a SAK. Murphy's law at work.

ONLY thing I can think of is that somehow I opened it while fishing it out.
I was seated in the car and needed the TOOTHPICK.
I....could.....have grabbed the hole (it is a one hand Trekker) and pulled it open and then sliding down to grasp the rest of it got bit.
ONLY SKIN. J U S T enough to make it HURT without bleeding.
And it was NOT locked after I got it out which seems to bear out the theory of somehow opening it part way while grubbin for it.

O.K., well that makes alot more sense. The one-hander one is alot easier to accidently open then the standard SAK's. To open a standard one by mistake would speak of some seriously bad luck. :p
