An excellent NEMA4 enclosure @ SurplusCenter

Will prolly be $10 or so. Mine got shipped together with 2 HP DC motor (complete with a cast pulley, that alone weighs in @ 10lb). Give them a
call or drop one into the shopping cart and see what they show as shipping
charge as you head out to checkout.

I've had good luck with Surplus Center over the years. They've been a good, solid outfit to deal with.

Rashid11, what happened to your VFD?

DOA, that's what happened :grumpy: . It shook/vibrated 2 different motors
to where it was utterly unuseable . After calling KB and having them listen
to the motors, they agreed something is wrong and I RMA'd the brand new drive
back to them. To add insult to injury, it takes em 2 weeks to even look @ broken stuff, so no diagnosis yet. :thumbdn:

Thats just the enclosure correct? i have a toshiba drive that i would like to convert over

Can a VFD be mounted in that or would there be cooling problems? I have one on my surface grinder but I think I bought the wrong enclosure.

Thanks Kirby

It depends on the size of the VFD. Take a look @ description
of the item - it has the dimensions in there.

Depending on power rating, you might need to ventilate it

I'd kind of expect them to simply replace it.

I think I'd harass them every other day (regardless of what they tell you) until it's resolved.
