This is an excellent example of elegant simplicity -- a 17.5 inch Gelbu Special blade with standard cho which weighs in at about 1.25 pounds. Made and marked by Bura and this rig will tell you why he is the Royal Kami. There is not a single thing I can find wrong with this rig.

We will deliver this great effort by Bura to your door for $125 and I don't think you can find this much knife so well done anywhere for this price. Happy Father's Day!

Call or email if interested.

The most horrifying part of a UBDOTD is that you invariably kick yourself for not having waited for the NEXT one.

Man, that thing's gorgeous. But no spare $$.

Thanks Bro.

It must have went to T-Bone since he kept calling me a dirty rat over the Dui Chiarra Chainpuri.

Next thing you know, if it was T-Bone, he will be down here wanting to trade.

I usually prefer the wider bladed khukuris over the narrower blades that are take offs on the Sirupati style, but the Gelbu Special is one great khukuri and I'm betting the one I'm getting is gonna be as well.
I'm really excited about getting this one, but that's true of them all.
I'm really curious about the balance on a dui chiarra chainpuri.

That Injun ain't out of the hot water yet.
I know, I'll catch him when he's not looking and switch it with a chrome plated tourist khukuri! He'll never know The difference!!!

Sounds like it was a good dinner! Don't feel bad about me missing dinner. You can make it up to me by handin over the chainpuri!! Just kidding! You got a nice khukuri. I can't wait to take a look at it.

Pretty close, I'd say. At least that's how far I am from Terry. Yvsa is a little bit further but still not all the way to Tulsa (which is about 50 miles). We are going to have to have a "you show me your and I'll show you mine" event soon. I never have gotten Terry and family or Yvsa and family to come out and walk around my 90 acres. Let's make a date. Bring guns and knives!

Yeah, Jim, it's nice to have room. Not only do I have 90 acres but the surrounding properties are appropriate. I'm the last house on a dead end road so we don't get any traffic. I have a neighbor across the street (west) but they are an older, mostly retired couple. They are the only house you can actually see from anywhere on our property. My northern neighbors are 480 acres that sometimes have a few cows and nothing else. No house. My eastern side is an empty 50 acres that has been for sale for at least a year and a half. The man just wants way too much money for it. My southern neighbors are old time farmers. They are way up over the hill and part way back down it. I can sometimes see a few of his cows and that's it.

It was Father's Day yesterday so I loaded up three 20 round mags of Malaysian 7.62 surplus and took the CETME out to the pond. That ammo was all gone less than ten minutes later but it sure was fun. Good thing I buy it in case lots.

As far as wood and trees, we've got lots and lots. The northern half is heavily timbered and you could spend weeks out there hitting things with big knives and nobody would be able to tell the difference.

You can live where ever you want. You just have to decide what you want and then work toward it. We started out in the slums in rental property but everytime we moved it was to someplace nicer and farther out of town. The last place was Collinsville and 5 acres. I'm not planning to move again unless I come into a million or two somehow!
