an explorers scandi

heres a new scandi i made, the blade is 440 stanless ,the handle is Local oak with red deer antler,brass and red and black fiber spacers.

here it is part made:

finally finished ,after a major cock up it was re-handled with a better piece of oak,the knife has been antiqued using a trade secret method:

very nice traditional look. I can almost smell salt water and herring :). Got any more work you can show?
