Hey guys, I've owned a few Byrd knives to include the:
Cara Cara, Cara Cara 2, Meadowlark 2, Catbyrd and Raven.
And I've owned a few Spyderco knives as well, namely the:
Tenacious, Persistence, Jess Horn in AUS-8, Delica 4 FFG, Endura 1, Manix 2 in 154CM, Manix 2 in S30V and a Cat.

I personally love ALL of the knives I mentioned but my 3 favorites are the Meadowlark 2, Delica 4 and Cat, it got me thinking, there's a $20.00 Delica style knive made in China using 8Cr13MoV and a $60.00 Delica made in Japan using VG-10, why not make a Delica style knife in Taiwan that would street around $40.00-$45.00 using 440C steel and FRN handles, that way people who want to try the Delica design but don't care for the 8Cr13MoV steel, could give it a shot before spending the full $60.00 on a Delica 4, maybe the idea seems silly but I'd like to see what y'all think, I know I'd personally buy one and I've spoken to several people on YouTube and locally who all like the idea, any opinions? Thanks :)

I own both delica and meadowlark 2 (the rescue and hawkbill model) in FRN and I do think the geometry on the meadowlarks are better with the choils. rather than another "delica" made in taiwan with prices in between I expect another 'value' designs from Spyderco. 8Cr13MoV is a nice steel, a little bit or just the same with 440C in performance, so I don't think there is the need to really upgrade the steel.
