I was going through a catalog and saw the CRKT Urban Shark and thought, that knife "looks" it's name. So everyone, name a knife or two that to you, looks it's name. Also, the Microtech Vector. Paul

The old Kershaw Talon, a hawksbill bladed folder.

The Sebenza, it means "work" in Zulu.

The Umfaan, it means "little boy" in Zulu.

The Mnandi, it means "very nice" in Zulu.

Nothing looks more like its name more than the partially serrated full-size Griptilian with thumbhole. It's a beast with eyes and teeth!

I haven't come up with any of my own yet, but yours are right on the money, Glockman.

This is my first time linking to a picture. Let's see if it works.

I'm not sure about what TDE is asking us to post but I took it to mean that the shape of the knife "looks" like the name it is given by the manufacturer.

Two blades that come to mind but does not meet the above criteria are the Spyderco Shabaria (the blade resembles the head of a "dolphin" but that is not the name of the knife) and the Spyderco Masaad Ayoob (the blade resembles the head of a "woodpecker" but that is not the name of the knife). Although a Spyderco Merlin does have a blade that somewhat resembles the hooked beak of a merlin.

I think a Case Peanut sort of resembles the shape of a peanut shell (in addition to being a relatively small knife). The elusive Emerson Rhino seems to have a blade that resembles a rhino horn. Doesn't Emerson also have a banana knife?

Spyderco Snap it
Schrade Cliphanger
KaBar Warthog
CRKT Seahawk

Heh, the Spyderco "Civilian" looks SO much like its name... NOT!

I have long wondered what brain came up with that name. Wasn't the knife designed for backup use by law enforcement officers? It's supposedly the only (or at least the first) Spyderco knife designed as a weapon and not a tool. How could it be a "Civilian"?

Anyway, I am SO glad I don't have to sharpen that Biohazard thingie. What a bitch! :p

The Cold Steel Scimitar actually looks like a Scimitar.... ;)
