Hello fellow knife enthusiasts!

I have had the chance to deal with a few of you here at BF, and have had an outstanding experience so far. Thank you.

I am a relatively new member to BF. That being said, i have been known to have read a few of the posts over the years. A few of you have impacted my skills in knifemaking (small skill. Lol...dabbling really) without even knowing it, and others have expanded my knowledge of steels and sharpening as well. So i want to say "Thank you." This is a fantastic forum, and i wanted to thank all mods and keepers of the forum for having a place for us affectionados to hang out.

I really felt the need to address the "thank you's" first. Now on to the introduction.

I love knives. All kinds. Slippies, liners, framelocks, weird locks, fixed, folding, washers, bearings...love them. What i love the most is smooth operation, asthetics, and smooth lines. Purpose build beautiful cutting tools. I appreciate fine machining, and painstaking hand built beauties. I have been collecting and using for over 25 years. I have enjoyed watching knives evolve over those years and there are some absoultely talented makers and exceptional knives available today.

I look forward to contributing to BF in the coming days/years.
So hello to all and happy hunting!! Please be patient with me as i am learning the rules of BF, and i welcome any constructive corrections if necessary. You will most likely find me cruising the exchange, CRK, and how to forums.

Remember...keep 'em sharp.

Welcome, and I agree, if you read and listen to people you learn a lot around here. I've lurked for a while before making a bunch of posts in the last few months. Once you learn the lay of the land you get to fit in quite well in my opinion.
Let's see if you can get to 32 posts by 2024 ;)

Nice to meet you sir! Looks like you’re on the right path in your collection and appreciation!

Lol. Ill try to make it to 32 posts. I got a basic membership years ago under the name spydercool. It was a while ago and i think i was chasing a knife (cant remember which one). Then i forgot i even had a membership!! Lol. It wasnt until i tried to sign up with the same email that i was notified i already had an account. Oh man...i had a good embarrassing chuckle to myself.
Thank you for your reply. And nice to meet you. :)

Nice to meet you too! I love how my knife tastes have grown over the years. Its been an exciting and costly experience. Lol. Luckily my wife appreciates (or accepts) my love of knives. Hope to see you around!

You seem to be a person of few words and a love for all kinds of knives, which isn't a bad thing at all. But, they say a picture is worth a thousand words. So, let's see some knife porn.;)

Im still trying to figure out how to post pictures. I dont have good internet reception because im a country guy, so i do everything from my cell. :/ i cant wait to figure it out!! :)

Use the upload a file feature. I would recommend downsizing pics a little, it makes the browsing experience a little easier.

Thank you so much for mentioning the at symbol. Makes sense. Im not much of a technology/computery guy, so that was very helpful. Basically im oldschool. I like to work hard, play harder. Love things that cut and go boom!
Very nice "We the people." Beautiful. Looking forward to "show and tell". :D
