I have a small but interesting collection of "Barlow" knives. I recently ran across something I found rather odd. One of my favorites are "Tree brand" Barlows, I have a number of them in my humble collection. I spied a tree brand Barlow with a tang stamp that said "Ireland". I am new to this knife collecting addiction . Can anyone shed any light on this or is my ignorance showing? Please advise Thanks Pete Lobo

Welcome to the forum, Pete. The Böker sub-forum or the traditional sub-forum might be a better place to ask. Pictures are always helpful and enjoyable.

Some brands have had knives made in Ireland.

I could be wrong, but I thought that all "Tree Brand" Boker's were made in Solingen Germany.

Welcome to Bladeforums :)

When I viewed this knife on ebay, one could see on the blade very faintly a stamp that said "Ireland. I put a bid on the piece and won. I will receive this knife soon and try to take some photos. Regards Pete lobo
