Interested in a quality khuk at an unbelievably low price? Ebay has just knife for you -- and it's even the type used by the Khurkuri! Don't believe me? This is the description of a khuk presently being offered by ebay (and this is copied directly from the ebay site):
"This knife is in excellent condition. I purchased this outstanding crafted knife during a hiking expedition to Nepal in 1999. It is hand made.I bought it directly from the craftsman in the Ekanta Tibetan camp region of Nepal. The knife has a 8" long blade made of high carbon steel and a 4" Indian rosewood handle. The Scabbard is made of buffalo leather. This knife is used by the Khurkuri for close hand to hand combat. Buyer pays $5.99 shipping and insurance. PLEASE NOTE: STAND NOT INCLUDED! Please look at my positive feedback! I only sell items on ebay that I have purchased from the original source in countries that I visit as a documentary photojournalist."

Check it out forumites. You just might get lucky and be the top bidder for this knife. Then you'll be able to proudly say that you not only own a knife made in a Tibetan camp, but one used by the Khurkuri!

P.S. I hope my sarcasm is obvious.

Mohd, apparently the guy doesn't know the difference between a khukuri and a Gorkha. In fact, from all indications, he's never heard of a Gorkha. Certainly no a guy I'd trust to know a quality knife.

Ebay gets all the good deals!

Besides, John Powell probably already grabbed it. Right John?
