An Old Christmas Knife

Very cool, herder, and same to you, meako, and everybody here on The Porch!:cool::thumbsup:
That knife seems to be in spectacular shape for being over 100 years old!:thumbsup::cool:
Here's a new (less than 10 years old, I'd guess) Christmas canoe I've been carrying this week:

What a beautiful old knife that really doesn't look that old.
I'm sure it most certainly is but is just in such excellent condition.
Who can resist a beautiful old well made classic pen knife ?
Something of this exact look is definitely on my list knives i want to acquire, I don't care how old it is, just as long as it's carbon steel. I'd love one with that same style of beautiful secondary blade as well.

Thanks 5K Qs and Hickory n steel, and that canoe looks like a proper carry for the Christmas season.

Great Christmas Knifes! I used my rescued Walden 34OT Stockman to open Christmas this year!

Nice pen/office knife! If I had that one it would make deciding which knife to carry on Christmas very easy:)
Merry Christmas everyone!

Wow- thats an exceptional Knife my friend- outstanding condition! I must look more closely at the stamping of an Grandaddy Barlow from Henry Sears- although you can only just make out the slight parts of Sears from memory.... I dont think I have ever handled a Prussia stamped Sears!
Great viewing, and Merry Christmas my friend.

Here is a fitting knife for the Christmas season which was sold by Henry Sears (different from Sears & Roebuck). This old knife also has a "Prussia" stamp which dates it from 1891 to 1915.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
