An old friend

I finally got the handle on my big AK solid again. After much epoxy, clamping and sanding, it is very useable again (albeit not all that pretty yet

). I took it out tonight to fend off yet another stump. Man this is a serious blade made for serious work! Thank you HI for such an incredible tool! I was jumping on the handle to dis-lodge the stump and it performed great. Cutting the remaining roots while they were still in the ground left no damage to the blade whatsoever. With the new toys that I have recently acquired, this old friend hasn't seen much action (also, wood-burning season is over, so no splitting to be done!). Man these are fantastic blades

Thanks for nice report from the field, Rob. Some of those old ugly ducklings can do the job and do it well. There is really no correlation between beauty and performance.

Rob, how many khukuris do you have now?
